DWTS judges are so in the bag for Kirstie Alley
Cripes how bad does she have to be to have them notice?

1. I think it's Hines Ward.
Kirstie was not good last night, and it's probable she will be in the bottom three with a good shot at going home tonight. My problem with her is how she looks -- she needs a better hair and makeup stylist, and Maks needs to design better costumes for her.

Hines, while better than Kirstie, is so overscored it's ridiculous.

2. Yeah they're a bit in the bag for him as well
Although at least he is improving and she has been going downhill and one gets the feeling that if she soiled the ring they would say "but AFTER you pooped on the dance floor you recovered so nicely! WELL DONE!" I guess it's b/c she's really the only person on there who has been a "star." Chelsea Kane, who I never heard of in my life before she was on this, is my fave.

Kirstie looked nice in the simple, elegant dresses week 1 & 2 but last night she really looked like the dog's dinner. OMG periwinkle chiffon bell bottoms?? It reminded me of when they tried to go all "hippie" on Lawrence Welk! FAIL!!

7. Samba to "Sweet Home Alabama?"
And then they're all like, that didn't seem like the samba! Ridiculous...

4. Kirstie will do better at the slower dances
She's 60, for God's sake. I have to hand it to her for getting out on a dance floor in the first place.

Heinz Ward is being egregiously overscored.

Last night's show was the worst I've seen, and I loves me some cheesetastic dance show. I hope DWTS will do away with "theme week" and bring back last week's orchestra on a permanent basis.

5. I don't care if she can dance or not, I just love Kirstie!!
Love her attitude.

But then, I'm not a fan of DWTS.

6. I cannot stand Kirstie Alley but she was good the first week
After than she's been on the downslide. The thing that bugs me is that she always goes out of her way to make her weight front page news, commercializes it and then LIES about it, and is now selling some new kind of magic snake oil which she has been taking for like a year and a half and claims it made here lose 60 lbs. She says she was 230 and lost 60 lbs on these overpriced supps that you can get at any GNC for a fraction of the cost.

So that would make her 170? At her height she would be much more slender at 170. She weighs 200 if she weights a pound!

As far as her and John Travolta having reached some splendid state of higher being as Scientologists, MEH.

8. I run hot and cold on Kirstie, but on DWTW I like the fact that she doesn't whine.
She's got a sense of humor and is kind of a broad, which I like. She doesn't make excuses. Scientology, not so much, but it is what it is. I thought Heinz was far less good than the judges did. And Ralph Macchio seems to be floundering a bit too, but I find myself wanting him to get a show or something. He's charming and very human.

But the one that REALLY gripes me is the little Hef playmate who in my opinion is so used to being an object that she falls apart when she has to play on the same field with the other kids. "They don't think I'm elegant...WAAAHHHH!!" "I feel like a boy....WAAAAHHH!!!" Honey, you might want to work on some of these issues.

9. I hope she is the one to go home tonight.

The playmate, not Kirstie. She is another Kate (from Plus 8).

(P.S. It's Hines, not Heinz.) :hi:
