Queston about Wii & wireless routers
My mother-in-law has Comcast's Triple Play service, meaning that she pays for internet access even though she doesn't have a computer. However, she does have a Wii console, so we're hoping to get her basic access to email, etc.

I'm planning to pick up a wireless router to link her Wii into her Comcast modem, but I wondered if this is feasible. When I connected ours, I had to run software on my PC to configure it, but this isn't an option for her.

Is this a plug-and-play operation, so that I can simply connect the router and find the signal for the Wii, or do I need to do something more elaborate?

Thanks in advance!

2. We just plugged the router password into the Wii when prompted
And, boom, it was online. No software required for the Wii.

3. Fire up the router and the Wii will find it. The only set-up you'll have to do will
depend upon the level of security you set for the router.

a default setup that usually uses open access, versus one of the password based methods. Do you have access to a laptop? If so bring it along and hook the router to it first and configure the device.

Also don't WII on the router do it in the bathroom. WII'ng short circuit the router real quick.;)
