14. I've built websites for several dentists...
...and one of the things we always discuss is how to present them in the best possible light, to put potential patients' minds at ease, and invariably, that movie always comes up.

6. No love for Dr. Waldowski, the "Pride of Hamtramck?"
This is the character who inspired the MASH theme song. Not to mention inspiring Lt. Dish.

19. The "Painless Pole" chapter in the book was better than the movie
They had to change it because (1) there was no sex involved in the book and (2) they could have made a full length movie out of the Painless Pole.

10. NOVOCAINE!
I love that movie.

I think about it sometimes when it
seems my life is getting WEIRD.

My life is pretty stable compared to
what happens to him.

I like protagonists that are clueless
about their REAL situations until the
veil is ripped off.

Loved HBC in this AND Laura Dern too!
