Eagle poop everywhere

Wow, it looks rainy and miserable in Decorah now and mom has her wings partially out like an eagle umbrella. The eaglets must have been trying to poop from underneath her because there's white poop all over the front and back of the nest (and it looks like there's some on one of the eaglets partially in view from under mom).

Eww.... no fun there today. Much housecleaning to do when the weather breaks.

1. It might not be all poo

Earlier this evening one of the adults brought something to the nest and proceeded to rip it to shreds. Light colored fur (or something) was flying and with the rain, it may be clumped together all over the nest. I couldn't see what it was - I think I don't want to know.

I really love watching the eaglets - hope the littlest one keeps getting his or her share of the food.
