I am now one of the shortest people in my family. Just saw nieces and nephews today
and they are almost all taller than me. At 5'8" I'm no longer tall. How does that happen so fast!!!

2. LOL! Almost all the guys in my family are all over 6'2". I once arrived at an airport
and got on a plane with several American college basketball teams and their families. I felt like that today.

4. My Mom and sister feel that way.
Most of my family is 5' 8" and above, (I'm 6 feet,) but my Mom is 5 feet, and my sister is 4' 10". :-)

6. One day all of a sudden, I had to look UP at both of my sons!
I don't know when or how it happened either! I used to be tall!

I'll never forget it... we were walking through the mall.... it was the strangest feeling.

8. I know how you feel!!
I'm five foot three. Mom and dad were tall, grandparents were tall, had uncles on both sides at six foot two.

I have no idea what happened. Mom and dad were tall for people who were born in the teens and Twenties. Mom was five foot seven and Dad was five eleven, about 180 lbs. when trim, and a very strong guy physically.

I have small bones and am basically a smaller version of my Mom.

My daughter is also five foot three. Her dad is six feet seven and a beanpole. She is built like him. She's a miniature beanpole and thus looks much taller than she is. Weird how genetics works out. You never know what will happen.

Her dad's mother was the biggest, widest, fattest and tallest white woman I have ever seen.
She was six feet tall, four feet wide (I kid you not-she went through doors sideways) and she must have weighed four hundred lbs for all I could tell.
