Any recomendations for computer/stereo linkage? |
|
I have quite a bit of music on my computer, but my computer is in a separate room of my house. I'd really like to have some way to link it to my stereo but don't know if there is any way to do this, either through a long cable or even some kind of remote device or something.
Probably not, but it's worth a shot. I'm just not ready to invest in an iPod yet.

There's a cheap way and an awesome way. Cheap way: just get a normal, small headphone-to-RCA connector cable and plug it into your stereo like any other normal component.
Or
You can be bad-ass like myself, get an Audigy 2 Platinum, and hook up your computer to your favorite surround sound system and get true 6.1 audio from your computer.

2. Yeah, I guess I could do that.... |

I have a pretty decent speaker system connected to my computer but like I said it's in a completely separate room from my stereo or basically anywhere that I would actually want to listen to music. I guess I could get a super long cable and run it under the basement up into my stereo.
