3. I was at that game
The first one that is. Newcastle vs Wimbledon in the FA cup, Paul Gascoigne vs Vinne Jones (Gascoigne is the one being groped). Gascoigne was brilliant at that age & was only going to get better, Wimbledon knew that they had to stop him if they were to have any chance of winning but couldn't do so in a way that the referee may actually notice (like leg-breaking tackles, etc.) so Jones did everything he could to keep a handle on Gascoigne throughout the game.
