Kindle reportedly freezing up with some of their games?

It was fun news when somebody raved about Scrabble on her Kindle. I had planned for nothing except eBooks, while wondering briefly and uneasily whether the 2-yr extended warranty is precautionary. The couple or three extended warranties I've bit on have been useless, but it's vaguely unsettling that the machine only vouches for itself for a year for starters.

Anyway, looking at the games-for-Kindle, there were the indispensable solitaire (12 versions, including Freecell), plus a "Note" taking thing and a Calculator. Out of 80 reviews for the solitaire, a half dozen or so reported "freezing up" of the machine. Hmmmm.

I went ahead, basically thinking that if this thing might be good for only a year, what the hay. My heart didn't even stop much when, after it got on the machine instantly, when I went to try it, the thing told me there was some kind of fail and to turn it off and on again. Once that was done, I tried a couple of Freecell games and they seemed to be working.

Freezing up? If it happens will the tech support issue a ZAP or something?
