1. Oh HELL no! I've loved it from the sexy, bloody, fabulous start.
Vampires don't sparkle, baby. Vampires BITE!

Can't wait til it starts again.

9. You betcha. My only problem is trying to decide which of the men is hottest.
And I don't get that way that often.

3. Watching it on DVD.
We are about halfway through the second season so far. LOVE the program and loved the Charlaine Harris novels the program is based on (loosely...) The big thing I do NOT get is why everybody thinks the character of Vampire Bill is all that. I am WAY more into Eric's character.

Can't wait for my next fix!

20. Do you use XFINITY?
All three seasons are available now. On Demand only has S1 so far, but as June nears, I am sure we will get S2 and S3. Here is a link to XFINITY: http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/tv/True-Blood/97877/full-episodes

8. me like
Hey,
I really like the show myself too. Such a variety of characters and multiple plots going on throughout each season has made it interesting. The characters are so fully realized to, always make it great.

Peace

11. This is going to be the best season ever
It's based on my favorite book of the series.

BTW you've seen the 'Waiting Sucks' promos at HBO.com

12. It's OK but HBO has had much better series in the past
like Deadwood, Carnivale, The Larry Sanders Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and The Sopranos.

It's ok, but nowhere near as good as the shows I just listed IMO.

13. how about "6 feet under"? my all time fave, and -guess what?- same director/producer as true blood
:)

so was Carnivale, i believe (loved that series, too - too bad it didn't last...)

and some other (somewhat) obscure series. - have you ever watched Oz? John from Cincinnati?... (etc.?) - great stuff, imo.

16. Carnivale was different showrunners - Daniel Knauf and Ron Moore I think - never cared for SFU much
Edited on Wed Apr-27-11 01:51 AM by slay
maybe i'm not a big Alan Ball (SFU, True Blood) fan - although his eps of True Blood are almost always the best. It's an OK show - just not quite as good as some in the past. John from Cin was ok - i was still pissed at Milch for not fighting harder for a Deadwood season 4. Oz - its on my list to watch - soon. :)

yeah Carnivale had a 6 year plan/outline. i would have LOVED to have seen it play out. season 3 was to be set 5 years after the events of the season 2 finale - check the details here if you'ld like - pretty interesting - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Characters_of_Carniv%C3%A0le#Season_2_finale_and_character_fates the writers tried to talk hbo into letting them do the rest in comic format but hbo said no. bastards. i hope Brother Justin pays them a visit.

17. Hardly
Huge fan here. Love the show. Watching the rerun of season three on Sunday nights now, then can't wait for season 4 to start in June. The stories are fun and the show is well produced and the actors are good, and not to hard on the eyes. Team Eric!!

18. Loved the first season but have grown to despise Sookie and Bill. I will
probably watch the next season but it's definitely not must-see for me anymore. :-(

21. It's bad.
I was watching an episode of Season 2 Friday on DVD and my DVD player died.

And no it wasn't because the player was 9 years old.
