Show us your alltime favorite photo, taken by YOU
This was shot in Colorado's Flattops Wilderness, pre-sunrise; 3 best friends in their one-man backpacking rafts, huge brook trout caught minutes later.

I showed you mine - now show us yours.

1. Mine's a sad photo

Taken last summer at a rally for striking Tyson workers in Jefferson, WI. This photo pretty much sums up the situation.

3. It needs to be online somewhere else first
I use a free account at Club Photo (www.clubphoto.com). Upload it there then paste the URL of the picture (NOT the page the picture is on -- the picture itself) into the post window.

4. You can do it from your hard drive
Go here:http://207.137.168.225/

- click "Browse" and select the image from your files, i.e. from "my documents."

- After you select and "open" it, its path will appear to the left of "Browse" on that upload page. Click "Upload."

- Now highlight and "copy" everything between "http..." and "...jpg" (has to be a jpg with no "illegal characters).

- Paste it into your thread reply & preview it - it should show up.

22. rmdem, if you want to email a photo to me, I'll host it
just PM me for my email address. I can stick it into one of my web forum hosting pages, and email you the address and how to post it.

If you are a Delphi gold member, you have access to your own "picture page" as well.

There's probably several DU'ers who can give you free picture storage websites, as well.

Can't wait to see it! Still trying to decide on my "favorite"....

did you have an electric trolling motor, or just "coasting"?

I'm a "shore" fisherman at the moment,

but am considering getting either a 12' sports-pal or a wee inflatable - -
And I got SO many pictures that are favorites

Clik on my "eyes" or the "CC" in my sigline to see them -

but here's my favorite for now,

It's my view across from one of my most favorite camping spots

no apologies for the size -

34. Wow! Very cool!!
It's amazing the shots that one can get accidentally. I have4 a number of them myself that if I tried to jerk the camera to get the effect, I'd never do it, but a sneeze or stepping into a pothole or havign a fly land on my hand was just the right amount of camera movement to make the image sing. :-)

That is a truly amazing and excellent photo. Something I'd be willing to buy at an art show, etc. Indredible beauty and a very mesmierizing bit of movement in it. I could stare at it for a long time without getting bored.

friend and mentor. This day he had returned from the 68 Mexico olympics. He had become a hero for his ride. Even though he wrecked and had several flat tires he still finished well up in the field. He had won all the warm up races leading up to the big race, and had caught the eye of an Italian pro team.

Getting back to that day. He had broken away on a solo attack. He lapped the field four times. It was an incredible performance.

Even though he was a hero to all, he stayed humble and focused.

I kept the image yellow on purpose. In the image he is receiving a peeled orange from his team manager.

I was fortunate to live in Eritrea for a few years. The faces of the people are stunning.

this was from a 30+ year old slide. It was a mess, but Photoshop and a bit of time has made it presentable.

My fiance, Kalie:

Too bad i cropped this old pic, the whole image is quite nice if you're into human form. The highlight on the left is not on the print, but on the digital version. I cant seem to scan those values on my old flatebed.

Pushed Kodak Plus-X Pan 125 through one of my old 6x6 TLRs. printed on Ilford warmtone (MGW) paper. add 3 weeks of contunuous burning/dodging in my bathroom to perfection. I really love the girl too....

51. I missed an opportunity... or three.
Two involved accidents, but it's not too late to take one other even though the snow is gone:

Dusk photo of a farm on a cloudy night. Everything in the area looks gray. It is to signify the death of the farming industry; having been raped and pillaged by the corporate juggernauts.

But the leaves haven't budded yet. And it might look more poignant without the snow on the ground. Let's hope it's cloudy in a melancholy order tonight...

For that pic I'd scanned in the print...

I scanned in the negative and got a better looking image, though I also discovered that after PROEX made the print, the dumbass had scratched it. I can correct it, but I hate it when they scratch things up. x(

Is another...

http://www.thermodynamic-online.com/photography has a lot more; though I could weed out the worst pics... Some of the pages' initial pages don't come up, but the meun that pops up does work. I do need to redesign them eventually...
