Someone tell me this website is a joke
Objective: 4 Kidz

The "z" is for "zealousness" :eyes:

I particularly like Hopsiah the Kanga-Jew, the kangaroo who lived in the Middle East. Did you know the earth went from a single land-mass 2100 years ago to the formation we know now? Who knew tectonic activity could move so fast...

And let the adults handle those grumpy atheists!

3. What a find!
"That kangaroos are not mentioned in the Bible or in local histories or customs, either by name or description, is probably due to the great number of kinds of animals that were in the Ararat area at the time. What's a kangaroo or two among a great throng of pandas, elephants, velociraptors, and giraffes? It is also likely that the kangaroos only spent a relatively short time living in the Middle East, needing to leave with greater haste than other animals in order to reach their appointed destination before the breakup of Pangaea (see next section)."

Or maybe all the kangaroos were all killed off by boomerang-wielding pharisees....hard to believe an adult could write that paragraph and expect anybody to take it seriously. And those are sort of the folks the GOP are allowing to set public policy in science.

By the way...is it a coincidence that the website's advice on what kids should do when they find an atheist is pretty much what the NRA's Eddie Eagle wants kids to do when they find their Nascar dad's handgun lying around the shanty?

5. Ah, MrBenchley, you just have to have everything two ways, don't you?
Forget about consistency: condemn the NRA for wanting to keep guns legal, and condemn the NRA for suggesting that kids get an adult if they find a gun laying around somewhere because, dammit, a "Christian" website has suggested that kids notify parents or pastors if they see an athiest.

Give it a rest.

bad ideas....

In this case it looked like two had the same bad one...but it turned out this site may be a parody by the Landover Baptist Church folks....

On edit: No, it seems to be just a bunch of shit-stupid bigots and thugs...just like the NRA--except that they don't have anybody as high profile crazy as Ted Nugent.

6. Scary stuff for a Saturday Morning
So, it's OK for Children to talk to strangers as long as they are not Atheists. WTF
:puke:

Quote.........
"If you find an Atheist in your neighborhood,
TELL A PARENT OR PASTOR RIGHT AWAY!

You may be moved to try and witness to
these poor lost souls yourself, however
AVOID TALKING TO THEM!

Atheists are often very grumpy and bitter and will lash out at children or they may even try to trick you into neglecting God's Word.

Very advanced witnessing techniques are needed for these grouches. Let the adults handle them"

And don't even get me started on "Professor Giraffenstein".

Maybe they are right. After reading this they definitely shouldn't talk to me.

Well, I'm off to have a grumpy bitter day with my little girl from an Indian orphanage and my husband of 16 years.

:bounce:

11. This is my favorite
From everybody's favorite creationist-talking giraffe:
Q: My friend Bomby the Bomadier Beetle can shoot boiling-hot toxic chemicals out his butt. Why?
A: God gave your friend the ability for defense against evil AND as a testament against the false doctrine of Evolutionism!

Damn! I wish I could shoot boiling-hot toxic chemicals out my butt at "creation scientists." Oh wait, I can if I have enough beer and hot wings! Then again, it seems like Bush & Co. Inc. have been doing this to the everybody for the past three and a half years.
