So I was just reading in my college newspaper... |
|
and the Republicans were bitching that their posters were defaced and torn down. They're calling for strict punishment to those who did that act of vandalism to the posters. Well...I must admit, I tore down one of the signs. But...it was justified. The sign read "College students love George W. Bush." I saw it and was like ":wtf:?"
I go to a liberal arts college and it pissed me off when they were making that generalization. I think my actions were justified...don't you?
I wasn't the only one who was doing it, though. There are about 50 others who did it, too. I'm glad. :)

3. Funny, the same thing happened when I was in college too |
|
I don't think that they ever caught the culprits. If they did, nothing happened to them.

As long as you're not like Jimmy The Squealer from that Simpson's spisode.:)
But think about it: It's Morris. It's a repube stronghold in Minnesota.

6. The town itself is full of repukes... |
|
but the campus is as liberal as they come. That's why I tore down the signs. A few people know I did it, but I don't think they'll say anything.

5. Nothing's wrong with a little civil disobedience. |

"I submit that an individual who breaks a law that conscience tells him is unjust, and who willingly accepts the penalty of imprisonment in order to arouse the conscience of the community over its injustice, is in reality expressing the highest respect for the law."

Well, I guess the good dead of tearing it down makes up for not recycling it :-)
