"Laughing" or "Big Lips"?

I know this emotie is supposed to be one of the Laughing Set (:7) but it just looks like "big lips" to me.

I still use it for laughing as the rest of y'all see it as such, but it hasn't ever evoked a look of a laughing face to me, unlike the one below ;)

4. If you mean the animated one I posted,

that's from the anime series "Ghost in the Shell". It's the logo of "The Laughing Man", a cyber-terrorist that would hack people's cyber brains and take them over. Cool but scary stuff.

And it does look like a camper's saucepan :P
