Anybody know how to get typewriter ribbon ink off your fingers? |
|
Tomorrow I'm teaching poetry at a festival and have discovered that kids LOVE to type. They're fascinated by typewriters (right up until they get to the end of the first line and can't figure out how to get it to return). Anyway I bought this cute little Olympia typewriter that types in cursive (craigslist) but had to rig a spool out of a couple of others. Now ALL my fingers are stained black!

And keep trying until someone catches you.
On edit: Wait. What were we talking about?

5. Just get some white-out. |
|
That should cover it up just fine.

6. Stop using a typewriter. The ink'll fade away eventually... |

7. Baby wipes. Honest to god. |
|
I don't have nor have ever had a baby in my house, but I use baby wipes to clean cat barf off the carpet; ink off hands; stains off clothes ... a million handy uses.
