i am looking for an old 60s drive in movie i remember being called "frankenstein from outer space"
the plot is an astronaut loses orbit crashing unplanned into the earth
after being horribly disfigured by the crash his attempts to gain help are thwarted by locals
the locals seeing the crash believe they have been invaded by alien monsters and the disfigured astronaut is mistaken for the aliens

the movie opens with an edited drive up A1A from hiway 192 to the front gate of cape canaveral space center
it goes through my town and passes the street i grew up on
it drives through patrick air force base and cocoa beach
then it drives through the main gate and out to the pads
its a home movie for me of a very sweet time (just the drive not the rest of the movie)

anyone getting a rung bell from this?
