Participated in a dog rescue today
Edited on Sun Jul-10-11 07:31 PM by UndertheOcean
It feels good to volunteer, although I never tried dog rescue before , since I thought humans need to be helped first. But I decided this time not to think too much and just do it.

We had to put one back into his crate because he would not relax , that part made me sad.

But most of the ones I dealt with today were nice , although if you are not careful they would get aggressive with other dogs , the main reason this particular batch was abandoned to the local shelter.

how was your sunday ?

1. You chose to have a great day. (Been learning about the philosophy of karma today.)

2. Thank you for what you do.
I would want to adopt all of them!

3. i rescued a dog, on my own, in november
I certainly didn't plan on it, really have other things I need to spend my money on...

but she would have died if I hadn't helped her. I couldn't live with myself if I didn't save a suffering animal -- that I had the power to help.

We adore each other. Somehow we've been able to fit her into our life. I didn't know how that would work out.
And she's still recovering. It's been a lot of work.

But she's the sweetest think ever, smart...KNOWS she's been rescued.
She leans on me to hug me, when looking for a neck scratch.

She has doggie night mares that make me know I did the right thing, poor girl.

you did a good thing, and good on you.
