You know I'll get a good laugh over just about anything out there. And for years I've enjoyed HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" starting Seinfeld creator/writer Larry David as himself.

The show is an acquired taste. From what I read there is no official script - just plot lines and the rest is ad-libbed, which I think adds to it's appeal.

But I tried watching the season premiere tonight (after "True Blood") and I had to turn it off halfway thru.

:wtf:

I find nothing amusing about a 60 year old man trying to teach a 13-year old girl, not related to him, how to use a tampon. Are you serious? This is the best you could come up with for entertainment? I mean this is Hollywood - are you telling me the girl was actually walking door-to-door selling cookies in a town where each massive house has acres of land. I mean that's quite a hike in a city where everybody drives a car to get anywhere.

But there was just something viley creepy about Larry David explaining how a tampon works. Personally I would have told her to wad some TP in her undies and find out who drove her to his house or just drive her home.

I have never seem such piss-poor ideas in a TV show.
