4. It's merely the animal kingdom's representation of a Republican, per Wikipedia:
...The behavior of the beetles was much misunderstood until the pioneering studies of Jean Henri Fabre. For example, Fabre corrected the myth that a dung beetle would seek aid from other dung beetles when confronted by obstacles. By painstaking observations and experiments, he found that the seeming helpers were in fact robbers awaiting an opportunity to steal the roller's food source:

'I ask myself in vain what Proudhon introduced into Scarabaean morality the daring paradox that "property means plunder", or what diplomatist taught the Dung-beetle the savage maxim that "might is right".<5>'

5. Revered in Eqypt as gods at one time
The ancient Egyptians associated dung beetles with two of their gods because of habits the beetle displayed. The first god related to the scarab is Khepri. This god emerged in the form of the rising sun, which moved across the sky pushed by a scarab, like a dung beetle moves its dung balls. According to the cosmogony of Heliopolis, the scarab was also associated with the god Atum. The Egyptians called this god “the one who came into being by himself”; in other words, the god created himself, just like the young beetles seem to appear out of nothing from the dung balls where the female beetle encloses her eggs (3).

The scarab was a powerful and very common amulet and a symbol of rebirth, renewal, and the endlessness of life. The size of scarabs varies from very small (1 cm long) to that of a heart scarab, which has an average length of 7.5 cm, and they were made in a wide variety of materials (Fig 1). Different types of inscriptions on scarabs can be divided into several well-defined groups and subgroups (3): (a) scarabs with hieroglyphic inscriptions, including royal names, private names, titles, names and figures of deities, good wishes, and magical formulas; (b) scarabs with figures of men, animals, or flowers; and (c) scarabs with geometric designs.

11. Boehner's the one with more shit stains all over him.
He still likes to maintain a nice "tan" color regardless of what kind of crap he's involved with.
