Introducing Kory (with pictures of our other pups)

We feel at a loss when one of our family leaves us. We try to get someone else in the house so that all will be accustomed to the new arrival and the loss won't be as hard on those who loved him/her.

With the loss of our Heidi we adopted Kory today.

She's a 17 pound Terrier. Definitely likes to cuddle. Right now she's trying to get used to the big dogs.

We've discovered that Kory is a snuggler. I took her for a ride last night and when we stopped at the hotel I work at to introduce her she crawled up onto my chest and laid there while people were oohing and ahhing over her. Schmoozer.

2. Beautiful doggies. I have three little critters, a Chihuahua,

a mini-pin and a French bulldog, but they will never replace my beloved Rottie in my heart, who I had to send to doggie heaven last July. She had cancer, but she was almost 13 years old.

But, fortunately, there's a lot of room in our hearts. So each one can occupy its own special place.

7. It was a warm day..

And these were taken shortly after the introductions which resulted in a lot of running, jumping and soooo much barking.
