Anyone else having trouble with hotmail? It has only been working half the time

for me in the last month. Don't know why. Perhaps they want me to give up my bell canada @sympatico account name in favour of an email address that has @hotmail? Does anyone know if they do this after one corporation takes over the emails accounts of another? Could they be running the programs slow so that I get frustrated and change? I don't want to loose all my emails from over the years that I would with an new email address.
