for those of us who work or volunteer in politics in social media, messaging, activism, PR, development, GOtV {& fully two-dozen other functions} capacities...not having Facebook and Twitter integration is the single-most frustrating thing about DU many days.

It's materially hurting our efforts; more-so, adding it is a killer-victory for us precisely because the largest talking places on the RW (for example, FR) are incapable of adding it.* Imagine a medium where we would utterly dominate the conversation the way conservatives dominate AM talk-radio, except social-media is 100x bigger and more-powerful than AM radio as a message-medium.

Skinner could scrap the entirety of DU3 and just give us social-media integration and I'd be the happiest I've been since Obama won.

You, of-course, are entitled to that opinion (and I understand it. Facebook is a monolithic monopoly and it makes me even a little uneasy.) but I think it's a mistake to not do this.

*-Literally, their site architecture can't handle it.

...when I held my cursor over the name of a thread in a list of threads, the first part of it showed up in a quick view box. I didn't have to click on the thread to get an idea of what it was about!
