I tried (obviously not very hard)....Anyway, saw these guys in '93 I think. Cool band even though the sound guys at the Auditorium Theater in Denver had it loud to the point of distortion, especially for Soul Asylum, who opened. Still almost painfully loud but at least not distorted for the Winos... Ivan Neville (keyboard) and Sarah Dash were real nice, down to earth people and glad to have had the chance to meet and hang out with them after the show. Interesting seeing Keith fronting his own band (and a great one it is/was). Thanks for these posts and YT links. I have no idea if a lot of Stones fans know of this band's existence, but they're certainly worth seeing if they ever do any more gigs under this name. I supposedly have another gig with B.K. in Sept. and will try to remember to ask him. He really, as these videos show, doesn't solo much with this band; mainly fills and long notes etc. but I guess Keith likes having him along on the road, and it was a good excuse for me and my roommate to do an Albq to Denver road trip ourselves. Again, thanks for posting and maybe turning somebody or a few somebodies on DU on to this band.
