Alright, chime in if you enjoy high humidity
I love it!

75F and 80-90% humidity is damn near perfect, especially if it's foggy.
90F and 80-90% is fine to bearable.
And unless it's raining, anything above that isn't that great, but still bearable :)

60% and below at any temperature and my sinuses can't take it...

(I expect a copycat thread on enjoying low humidity now... :P)

2. Then start the opposite thread.
You know, the one where you get people to chime in about loving low-humidity ;)

Low-humidity bothers my body, just as high-humidity bothers yours.

At least with high-humidity, I don't get shocked with hardcore static electricity. I swear! Anything below 60% and I'm a walking Van de Graff generator!

3. Yup. I got shocked a lot this winter because I got sick and turned on the heat. Got shocked a lot.
As far as humidity, cold and damp is the way to go. Makes it easy for me to breathe. Unless it's snowing and the wind is blowing it in I don't usually close the window all the way in the winter.

I didn't much care for the dry sauna at health clubs in the past. The wet one felt natural, but I was living in your area anyway. Dry heat in desert regions takes the color out of plants and makes me cough a lot. It doesn't stop the stuff that makes allergies, either, that stuff travels through the air for miles. No relief. BTW, it's necessary to keep the planet alive, so no objection to those plants. Personal problem, you know?

I'm old and decrepit now and prefer the cold and damp. I haven't found it to aggravate my joints like some people say it will. So high humidity is good. Mold and mildew, well, not quite.

But high humidity feels good on the skin and the lungs. Unless one is trying to sleep under a blanket and sweaty, then it's not that good. But I confess to being old and lousy. If the weather is bothering me, that's the reason why! So yeah, I like high humidity!

5. Actually I find those that like it cold and/or dry to be the "crazy" ones
;)

Humidity is the most wonderful state of water on the planet, especially when it's visible (i.e., fog!) :D

8. Considering I live in Houston
on the Texas Gulf Coast, and have all of my life, I think that already compares to Ol' Miss ;)

10. Well, I am one of the crazies.
Love cold and dry weather. I lived in South Florida most of my life where the humidity is just about always 100%.

11. I don't doubt that you "crazies" exist,
just that it's beyond the ability of my body to acclimate. Hot and humid is the best climate! :D

13. I'm about done with this heat for the year.
I gripe when it's cold, but damn, this heat/humidity is ridiculous!

7. the best thing about my recent trip to Puerto Rico, it was so humid, I didnt need a humidor
for my cigars. I was sweating like a dripping sponge and drank a few gallons of water and gatorade daily

80-85 degrees with humidity about 80-85%

9. There ya go :)
Nothing better.

Well, except Hawaii. My gf wants me to move us to the island of Kauaʻi, where they've got one of the wettest spots on the planet (How does 460 inches per year grab ya?) :D
