500 pairs of panties stolen from Waterbury-area Victoria's Secret...

WATERBURY -- Someone stole about 500 pairs of panties valued at $4,000 from a Victoria's Secret store in the Brass Mill Center mall, according to various reports.

The theft took place between 3 and 9 p.m. Friday, Waterbury police Capt. Christopher Corbett told the Republican-American, though store employees did not notice the panties were missing until the following day.

No further details about the incident were immediately available Monday morning.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Waterbury police at 203-574-6911.
