then listened more closely to the lyrics (and looked them up). Around 3:00 is perfection. Definitely gotta look into much more of his music.

4. The purists won't agree, but I love Love LOVE Figure 8
It is more "produced" but oh my GAWD there are so many incredible songs on that album.

I'd have a hard time picking just one: "Son of Sam", "Somebody That I Used to Know", "Junk Bond Trader","L.A.","Easy Way Out" (haunting given his possible suicide), "Wouldn't Mama Be Proud", "Color Bars", etc. -- love 'em all. :loveya:

My favorite E.S. songs, though, include "Angel in the Snow" and "Between the Bars". Can't choose.

5. Figure 8 and XO are both awesome albums
I like them for different reasons than I like Either/Or or Elliott Smith
