Hostas, lilies, elephant ears, hydrangeas, sunflowers, grape vines, clematis and now the geraniums. |
|
Damn deer are eating everything in our yard. The geraniums were right by the front door! :grr:
If I hadn't fenced in the tomatoes and peppers they would be gone too.

1. When the days of starvation are at hand, you'll know what's edible. |

http://www.repellex.com/Products-Deer_and_Rabbit.htmlYou put it in the ground near your plants; when the plants absorb the stuff they taste bad and deer and rabbits won't eat them. I know somebody who tried it and she said it worked. After a few bites the deer wouldn't come near the plants.

4. Hmm, don't think I've tried that one. |
|
I've tried so many other things. So many are temporary or the deer just get accustomed to it that it becomes useless. But I'll give that stuff a try. We want to plant a couple more trees but don't want to risk it yet.
All of our neighbors have similar tales of woe.

Deer. I had bunnies that I hated to keep caged during the summer heat. Ate so much stuff in my back yard, even with tons of food pellets. Sucks.
