What is your favourite drink (non alcholic included). Me I like to take my magic bullet, milk,
cocoa and sugar twin and mix them all together. I get a low cal milkshake that way.

28. It is an easy recipe, you can add alcohol to these if you want.

I use Kentucky Whiskey occasionally.

* 1/4 cup water
* 1/4 cup white sugar
* 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint leaves
* 2 cups crushed ice
* 1/2 cup prepared lemonade
* Fresh mint sprigs, for garnish

1. In a small saucepan, combine the water, sugar and 1 tablespoon of chopped mint. Stir and bring to a boil. Cook until sugar has dissolved, then remove from heat and set aside to cool. After about an hour, strain out mint leaves.
2. Fill 2 cups or frozen goblets with crushed ice. Pour 1/2 of the lemonade into each glass and top with a splash of the sugar syrup.

10. I'm an agnostic, but coffee could make me believe there is a God...
However, this is a cool drink/snack that I partake in a lot: You peel ripe bananas, break them into little pieces and freeze them. Then you throw them in a blender w/milk or soy milk, protein powder and the fresh fruit of your choice. (I like strawberries, but pineapple/blueberry is delish as well) Great smoothie, and less calorific and far less sugars than Jamba Juice!

21. Honestly though, Johnny Walker on the rocks. Black if I'm feeling fancy.
With a bit of Sprite if I want something a little sweeter. I'm typically not into very sweet cocktails, but the past weekend I had something that rocked my world. Sweet tea vodka and lemonade. It was the best half and half I've ever had. Something like that could be very dangerous in this heat, you just want to keep drinking it.

- it would have to be coffee, with a spoonful of sweetened condensed milk.

Next on the list would be, ginger ale, root beer, quinine tonic, red zinger tea, water with lemon and plain old water.

48. Jamaican sorrel iced tea. . .especially in the summertime.
Edited on Sat Jul-23-11 04:31 PM by DinahMoeHum
You grate a good-sized knob of ginger,
mix with about 1/2 cup of dried hibiscus flowers (aka Jamaican/Caribbean sorrel),
add 1/2 gallon of water,
bring to a boil,
lower heat and simmer with some cracked allspice balls, cracked whole cloves, and a broken cinnamon bark for about 5 minutes,
turn off heat and let steep for at least a couple of hours,
strain, serve over ice with whatever sweetening you wish
you can also add some rum if you want
