Janis Joplin found dead at aged 27.
Jim Morrison found dead at aged 27.
Kurt Cobain found dead at aged 27.

1. And oddly, as you go down that list, the personas and their music become less and less interesting.

BTW, I'm an addict, but I no longer find self-destruction to be all that interesting. Or mature. :shrug:

3. Generally, yes...
though I think Cobain is far more interesting than Morrison and maybe Joplin as well.

I find myself really wanting to crack the "Maybe she should have gone to rehab?" joke today, even in bad taste as it is.

and to ask for help.

But, it is possible. I wish she had gotten there.

I'm just sour because I wanted to be a musician, and I'm not :rofl:

I guess she should have gone to rehab.

Addiction is no joke, it took years of my life, but if you don't work at your sobriety, your drug of choice has a way of sneaking back in to take over your life...

6. That's eerie.
I sure did like her singing style. I liked her "You Know I'm No Good" & bought her "Back to Black" cd.

Very sad.
