I am jealous! Don't worry, Iceland in July is quite pleasant. I lived there for two years when I was 10 and 11.

My husband and I saw a film on PBS in the '90s about an Icelandic artist who put little firecrackers on the toes of his shoes and wore them while the explosions were going off. He also floated wooden chairs out onto a lake, and other interesting and bizarre performance art. I wish I could find out who he is.


I looked up Iceland to see some photos- here's a nice 6 minute slideshow for you, but especially for any who might see this who'd like to be stowaways on your trip!

But here, across the Massachusetts Bay from you in Provincetown, while taking my daughter
