My appliances have been screwing with my head

My white toaster has a black cord. My black blender has a white cord. Naturally, when I want to plug in the white toaster, I plug in the white cord, and when I want to plug in the black blender, I plug in the black cord. Then I stand there stupidly staring at the appliance, wondering why it doesn't work, until all my appliances start making fun of me

7. I've never understood black cords. They stand out too much.

If cords only come in black or white, they should all be white. Lots of people have white or light colored walls. I only saw black walls once in my life, and I won't repeat that story.

Black cords are just ugly.

I only allow white cords in the bathroom. Nowhere else.

Probably wouldn't affect me now, but I was a kid. I remember turning it off before it was over and begging my big sister to turn it back on! I didn't want to touch the TV. I thought that stuff was gonna come up from under the furniture and get me. Yowsa!
