I think he has a interesting name.

I would have dropped the B.

He has a facebook page asking for money.

1. Tim Allen the comedian dropped his last name, Dick. IDK if he was kidding, but he did a
Routine claiming his mother remarried after his father was killed by a drunk driver and that made a combined family. The new husband's last name was Butt. So he said that they all had to deal with being made fun of in public school, as they were all Dicks and Butts. I've known some people with some strange names and faces in politics. I think D.C. is where the people who aren't attractive enough to get jobs in Hollywood end up. I guess. Who knows.

2. When I lived in NH, I had a Congressman named Dick Swett.
I'm not kidding. He was the most responsive member of Congress I've ever had - anywhere, but he did have an unfortunate name. I think I would have stuck with Richard. I used to joke that I'd tell people my Congressman was Dick Swett and they'd reply, "yeah, mines one too, but what's his name?"

4. Early 2000s in Elizabeth City, NC, a woman named Anita Hummer ran for city council.
The signs were everywhere - why, oh why did I not snap a photo of one?

11. I mainly know unfortunately-named places rather than people...
Edited on Mon Aug-08-11 09:39 AM by LeftishBrit
There is a street in my town called Crotch Crescent. And I know someone in another town who lives on Butt Street. Then there is the village in Warwickshire called Long Itchington; and the river in Dorset called the River Piddle.

As regards people's names: there is a city councillor in Oxford with the slightly unfortunate name of Jean Fooks, who on one occasion was engaged in a debate with someone called Deborah Cocks.

Which reminds me that some years ago there was a Tory MP called Terry Dicks, who once stood against a Labour candidate called Michael Cocks.
