2. yes i saw that picture
i have searched the internet for pictures of poison ivy, they all look different and it is so hard for me to tell if this plant is poison ivy comparing them to those pictures. i was hoping someone who was familiar with plants and outdoors could tell me.

4. Looks like it has thorns
and the leaves don't look shiny. If it has thorns, it's some kind of bramble - i.e. wild blackberry or raspberry.

5. I think you got yourself a raspberry plant there
Judging by the shape of the leaves, the fuzzy stems, and the little red bud in the last pic. :hi:

7. No. Poison ivy doesn't have thorns.

This plant also has red stems; poison ivy stems are brownish. Poison ivy leaves don't have deeply serrated edges, and they tend to be shiny. It might be something in the raspberry/blackberry family.

9. From my Boy Scout days:
"Leaflets three, let it be. Berries white, poisonous sight."

What you've got there isn't poison ivy.

:hi:

10. Nope!
That looks like it has woody stems, like a sapling.
