On the subject of kids misbehaving in public.... |
|
First off, let me say that the vast majority of kids I see in grocery stores, the public library, church, etc., are well behaved.
But a major problem I have with SOME kids behaving badly is not just noise, it's when the kid is running up and down aisles in the library, store, etc. That's a hazard to the kid as well as other people present. The kid might run into somebody and cause an accident in which both the kid and the other person are injured.
Parents of said kids seem to be going around with their head up somewhere. You'd think the possibility of an accident would occur to them.

1. You are right. Most kids are well-behaved. |

I see and hear more crying babies than running kids. They seem to follow me around like I have a baby magnet! LOL

i actively encourage my children to run around and jump on things...climb up walls and speak with loud voices...when i see curmudgeons cluck and give disaproving glances...i smile inside.
