The colors are incredible. Before I scrolled, I could only see the Puffin's head, and I thought for one mad moment that you'd caught some terribly chic Icelandic woman wearing a colorful retro '50's hat. (You know, the kind that perch on the back of the head.) I fear that I may have some unusual wiring in my brain somewhere. Anyway, it's gorgeous.

I remember being very amazed at the black sand.

One of the things about Iceland I hated was driving by the water in Reykjavik and seeing the dead whales by the boats. They eat them there. BTW they eat Puffins there, too. Glad to see they are still around.
