I found out today, one of my patients died of lung cancer.

I had some good things happen today, too. So, it's a wash. Life goes on.

I'm visiting my niece and her family here and I have had to explain this whole debt-ceiling thing to everyone and it's HARD!!!

Alcohol is really expensive but the sun is shining so I'm happy!

Yeah, the weather has been beautiful lately.

I love the Pacific Northwest. I'm from Texas originally, but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else than here.

Except maybe Scotland or Ireland, where the weather is very similar...

6. It's usually a lot hotter here, like it is in eastern Washington,

but it's been pretty nice...windy, though. I'm born and raised in the NW and even though I complain about the weather, I'm staying!
