3. Well, I'm sort of depressed, since I was nearly 20. But not really.
We can all rock on. This came out that year, too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipOz_k9zvzo

5. Well, thanks, "old phart." 60 here in September, and DU will hear of it.
Damn, it's been a hell of a ride. I just wish our good nature and instincts were prevailing now. Maybe 60 will mean a New Birth of Freedom to kick some teabag butt.

15. I also know every one of those songs except #7.
And I was 9 years old.

That's really weird. When I think back to 1971 (helluva year for music, by the way) I don't picture myself as a little kid. (9!)

Really weird.

11. I hope you sent her the video, too. All the best to both of you and your families and friends.
1971. Actually, Tea for the Tillerman was my favorite then, by far. Also Emerson, Lake & Palmer. My first video for both of you is the remembrance of James Taylor. My second is to remind you to rock on. All the best:

Kicked and Rec'ed.

We all know now that the ultimate Detroit station was WRIF with Arthur Penhallow and Dick T. Bruiser. The home of Rock and Roll! BABY!

26. I remember about 14 of them.
The Tommy James song I don't.

"Take me home, country roads" was actually written about Maryland, specifically Clopper Road in Montgomery County, which has lots of suburban development, now.
