I really liked how they used all the different languages throughout it. Instead of just having them all speak english.

11. Except for the reporter's conduct andthe "story" she was following |

A network would never go live to a situation like that, in a war zone - it's so trivial.
Other than that, I'd say yeah.

The Cuckoo
A Russian film set in northern Finland towards the end of the war. There's a Finnish soldier chained to a rock, left with food, water and a sniper's rifle. A Russian soldier arrested for being politically incorrect. And a Lapp woman living alone on a farm. And they all speak different languages.
Don't worry. Subtitles are provided for those few dummies out here who aren't fluent in Russian, Finnish and Lapp....joking, mates.

it was too predictible. They use the same Hollywood story-telling device set in a different time. It was a beautiful film to watch but I couln't help but walk out saying to myself "Been there, done that"

If you are low on consumption of movie classics, I can recommend a bunch of great older stuff. If you tell me what you like as far as newer, I can give more recommendations on that score.
