I saw Jersey Girl last night.
I am not one for romantic comedies (chick flicks) but this one, along with "Sleepless in Seattle" are pretty decent flicks. THey don't overdramatize things. On another note, Liv Tyler was looking good in that movie. She looked like she gained a little weight, but it suits her well. THough, I have never felt very attracted to the emaciated type of woman that society tells women to emmulate.

1. My wife and I loved it
Thought it was great. Plenty of Kevin Smith humor to go around. Carlin was great. Afleck was great. The cameo by Jason Lee and Matt Damon had us in stitches. The whole movie was really good!

2. Yeah.
That scene where Ben was talking to Damon and Lee was funny. "We bow to you, but we cannot hire you."

6. George Carlin is in it? I'm so there!
I love Kevin Smith movies (DOgma and Clerks are my fav.) but I heard rumors that this was a different beast. But I will go and see it this week.

3. Loved it.
I'm a huge Kevin Smith fan, so it was obvious I would see the movie. I was very pleasantly surprised by it. Smith has a knack for including laugh out loud moments in his movies. The moment when Affleck walks in on the "i'll show you mine . . ." game, I almost fell out of my chair.

4. I'm looking forward to seeing it
It's all people I love: Kevin Smith, Ben Affleck, Liv Tyler, George Carlin...

How can it go wrong? Smith is genius, and he and Affleck (and the others from Smith's earlier movies) all work amazingly well together.

I'm glad to hear that people are enjoying the movie.
