Do you think DU should have a "chat room"-type function?

where people can talk to each other real-time. I am not saying we should or anything but I think it would be interesting. I am sure it would be a nightmare for MODS and I hope it wouldn't degenerate into some sort of sex chat thing. Plus, with a forum, people have more time to think before they speak or edit their words if they misspoke. Thats less likely with a chat room. I would be scared of people saying something off the cuff and offending others. I don't know, just throwing ideas around.

Those who wish to join can quickly find out how. Look for JohnKleeb. He usually organizes said chats.

Other than that, just offer on the board.

I will never DL it again. I wish DU would have its own chat.

I've done it before... seems to be a few people hanging out talking about nothing particularly inportant. Maybe that why we shouldn't have that here at DU.

5. It'd be cool if there were several rooms

With too many people, it'd get crazy..but with several chat rooms that hold a reasonable amount of people would be fun.
