15. That clip was on one of the tabloid shows

I was channel surfing and managed to catch the segment, sad to say. Mom wanted the FOUR YEAR OLD to look like Dolly Parton. Another little kid was looking at the girl's stuffing and was asking questions. Then they showed the kid onstage gyrating like she was auditioning for a gig at the Bada Bing.

Damned near child porn.

8. When I first saw it....

I thought it was a documentary condemning the practice. It's not only child porn, but the poor little kids who don't quite "cut it" are visibly upset at not being "pretty enough". I kept waiting for an explanation of why they were showing that garbage on television.

9. TLC -- "The Learning Channel"

I used ot love that network, back when it was realy aboutearning - it has turned into trash TV. I stopped watching the few shows I kept up with after they brough on T&T -- and I wrote and told them why. I find it fascinating that most of these events will not allow the general public in to "protect" the children from pedos looking for a thrill but are perfectly willing to allow themselves to be broadcast to millions. You just KNOW there are guys out there sitting on their couches jerking off to T&T. :puke:

I've seen bits and pieces, and once I saw a mother doing the daughter's hair. The little girl was screaming while the mother kept on tugging to get the hair bigger, etc.

I wanted to crawl through the television and just make it stop!
