I never thought I would ever post this EVER ANYWHERE - but BUY THIS ALBUM TODAY

Last week Amazon MP3 had this as the $3.99 album of the day so I thought 'Why not?'

What a fricking amazing album - this is a legend and I'm guessing it'll win alot of awards too.

Background to this album - about 6 months ago Campbell was diagnosed with Alzheimers so this album and perhaps one final tour was his way of saying goodbye before this disease digs in deep.

2. you'll enjoy this one today
:D

I saw he's on tour but the show is 2 days before my friend's wedding and I highly doubt she could go (although she would love to if she could)

4. BBC interview.
The Beeb had an interview with him and his wife on the World Service today. The music keeps his circuits open, so to speak.

My grandmother liked him. Now he's almost as old as she was when she died.

6. Maybe a small insight into Alzheimer's:
I think it was in a BBC story or on one of the Country websites like CMT.com. He has to use a teleprompter to help him remember the words to the songs, but his legendary guitar prowess remains undiminished. His hands seem to remember everything, all by themselves. Does this mean there's some primordial part of the memory that Alzheimer's can't reach? Wouldn't that be a ray of hope (or Delight)!

Campbell was hosting The Midnight Special way back there, IIRC, and George Benson was a featured performer. At the close of the show, Benson and Campbell got into a jam. Now George Benson is a VERY good guitar player, but Glen Campbell just mopped the floor with him!

I hope Glen's hands comfort him through the coming darkness.
