Guess what I found floating in our pool this morning.

This is our resident Turantula. We have named him Mr "T" He comes to visit occasionally but he is pretty quiet and keeps to himself. He also eats bugs so we like him.

5. Squee!
I found a baby armadillo in mine one morning. Poor little guy fell in (I assume trying to get a drink) and couldn't get out. He would swim up to the edge, get his front feet up on the coping, then his little back feet would scramble for purchase with no luck.

I used a pool net to scooch his butt up out of the pool.

Even armadillos are cute when they're little and not run over yet.

7. Mr. T is the man! Just lounging in the pool at the end of the season...

I like spiders and tarantulas are cool. I'm glad you don't have the unfortunate urge to squish him.

Amended: I like them anywhere except on my person, in which case I flip out (embarrassing lack of personal control, but I can't help it).

8. I don't kill anything I'm not gonna eat unless it plans to eat me.
Mosquitos fall into that catagory.
