other sites. I just went to Hulu.com to watch a TV show and the audio was fine. What could be the problem with YouTube? I have already posted this at the Mac Forum, but it could take a while before any one sees it.

3. What OS are you using? |

If it's a version of Windows made in the past 10 years or so, you should have access to a mixer by double clicking on that little speaker icon in your lower right. I'd try playing a video while watching that mixer. Assuming your sound card is installed properly, you should see at least some movement from one of the volume controls. If any of them are muted, unmuting it should resolve your issue.

I am having no problem with other sites, just YouTube. What is strange is that there is an advertisement at the YouTube site for the movie Contagion and that comes in loud and clear.

Unfortunately, I have very little experience with Macs. Do you know if other Flash related content works fine? It could perhaps be a Flash issue. Perhaps try reinstalling it?

7. I got it working. For some reason, there were 3 updates |

that I had not installed. Installed them and sound is working fine now. Usually, I will get notices to install updates, but I am in the midst of doing something on a Website, so I usually click on the Not Now button. Guess I will have to install updates when i am notified.
