Poll question: Your favorite Girl Scout Cookie

The long drought is almost over. It’s Girl Scout cookie time again! These little morsels of delight are sold only October through March (regional councils determine the dates for each locale), so you’d better stock up. But which varieties will guests at your next fancy dinner party prefer?

14. Damn right.
This poll is damn near useless without them. I'm not much into Girl Scout Cookies as a whole, but Samoas are god's gift to mankind.

23. You'll have to fight me.
When I was actually selling Girl Scout cookies (age 10), I actually threw up just thinking about the Thin Mints. :( :puke:

24. But WHY? They're so...so MINTY!
Not sure why I like them...I'm not a fan of candy like Junior Mints.

The other thing is that when I buy a box of Thin Mints, I can EASILY go another full year without thinking about them or wanting them.

But when those card tables start popping up in front of Safeway, resistance is FUTILE.

:-)

27. I like mint. Chocolate is okay. But together, I just can't take it...
Somehow the combination just makes me cringe. Actually, I don't feel so good just talking about it... x( :hi:

10. My daughter is in girl scouts
but, I really dislike all their cookies. I can tolerate thin mints and trefoils - barely - and only when I'm in the mood. This goes way back, though.

The cookies I like are chocolate chip, oatmeal, oatmeal raisin and those Christmas sugar cookies.

13. Have you ever read the nutrition label on those things ??
They're like a walking box of heart attacks.

You might as well just buy a gallon of grease, get it warm and drink it until you start having pains in your left arm. :)

(Just kidding... maybe.... I'm a retired Girl Scout executive who spent many years around GS cookies - and I probably will always have the hips to prove it.)

18. Samoas are heaven on earth
I discovered them after my first cookie sale as a girl scout and I think they rank as my all time favorite packaged cookies. Thin Mint have long been the #1 Girl Scout Cookie but I'm just not into the chocolate/mint combination.

22. Hmm, I've never had the Lemon Chalet Cremes or whatever they're called, and I *love* lemon
Will have to search them out this year.

However, of the list above, Thin Mints are the best, but ONLY if they've been frozen first :D
