2. Hrm...
Four years ago I was a student, with scholarships, parental health care, and no car. Now I'm married, working full time, have a child, pay my own health care and have a car... So better? Depends on what you're counting. More work and responsibility? Of course. Less money and time for fun? That too. But I consider myself lucky to have a wonderful family, and to be financially ok most of the time. There have been a couple of tight weeks, but it could be so much worse...

4. If you make $200K or more, you're doing just fine.
Otherwise, it's "fuck you" from this administration.

Hell no, I'm no better off.

Terry

7. Let's see....
Four years ago.... Hubby and I were making about $80K a year and were living in San Antonio. We ate out every night of the week. We were never behind on the bills. I was still making my credit card and student loan payments.

Now... Hubby still in school. Household income only $50K. We are living in Dallas (YUCK!). We eat at home every night of the week. We are ALWAYS behind on the bills. I haven't made a credit card or student loan payment in three years.

Yeah... four years ago was better.

The only better thing we have now that we didn't have then was...

5. Nope
Four years ago I was a university student enjoying the wave of peace, prosperity and progress provided by the Clinton Administration. It was the dawn of the new millennium, the end of high school, a new era of hope and optimism and I have some wonderful memories of that year

I could never have foreseen how bad Bush and the RW neo cons have made things

9. Yes, but
not because of the Repukes.

In 2000 I was single, working my first post-master's degree job, making nothing and living in an apartment.

Now I'm married, on job #4, making almost twice as much money, and we own a house.

But none of that is related to the BFEE -- hell, I'd be doing even better without them in the WH.

10. Yes and no.
I'm making about what I was four years ago. But I was unemployed for over a year under Bush. So we're just getting back on our feet. And I've been unemployed under both Bushes.
