I used clams, not mussels as in your photo, I did everything perfectly up to the point of adding the clams. I thought "this is going to dry out and burn," NOT THINKING THAT the clams were going to open up and release their liquid, so I added more broth. Not enough to ruin it...just enough to regret doing it.

I love paella.
I first had it almost 40 years ago, when I visited Spain. It can have many ingredients, but I like seafood best, including mussels and clams.
