Guitar players/collectors: Do any of you own a Peavey EVH Wolfgang? |
|
I'm thinking about getting one and was curious about the feel, playability, sound, etc...

I'm a big guy so they are pretty uncomfortable to me. And i believe they don't have a tone knob, which is very stupid. They are highly playable though, once you get past the size of the neck. Also include a dropped d-tuner for instant drop d changes. Sound is.. i dunno, sound. they sound like ass clean, but have a great dirty tone. I'd check out the ernie ball axis, the predecessor, a much better quality guitar.

pickups are good for distorted rock, but i dont' care for the clean sound. but there are also many versions of the EVH guitar as well.

2. Ridiculously overpriced. |

Due to Eddie's massive ego and the fact that he can't make any money actually making music anymore.
And yes I know about the Van Hagar reunion, but I'll be skipping it because A) Van Hagar is a top 40 cheese factory B)Fear Channel is sponsoring the tour C)Sammy gave $2000 to the Chimp in Thief.
