Prejudice against men who do parallel processing, rather than serial processing |
|
Edited on Thu Sep-15-11 10:47 AM by Boojatta
What reinforces that prejudice?
It's not unusual for one forty-year-old guy to have had four girlfriends in his lifetime. Why do we observe this contrast: that it is considered perfectly okay if they were four girlfriends in succession, but outrageous if the five have been sharing one bed for years? It's environmentally friendly to share. It's the first "R" of the triple: reduce, reuse, recycle.

1. More than one at a time would kill me. |

Besides, mine's like four at once anyway.
And here I thought this was going to be about multi-tasking vs. single-tasking people. Silly me.

3. This puts extra burden on the CPU. All output ports may not be |
|
equally accessed.
One of them, sooner or later, will stab you.
