1. I have my "Fleabit Peanut Monkey" mix CD in the car this week... |
|
...starts with "The Last Time" and ends with "Soul Survivor" from "Exile." 80 minutes of the creme de la creme.
I'm largely indifferent about the Ron Wood years...some songs I like here and there (and I did make another mix CD from that era), but for the most part, I really discovered them with "Out Of Their Heads" ("Satisfaction" / "The Last Time"), and thought they peaked with "Exile."
I like the two final Taylor albums, "Goats Head Soup" and "Only Rock & Roll," but things were never the same for me after "Exile"...they never hit a "Gimme Shelter" or "Jumpin' Jack Flash"-level high again.

2. Huge Some Girls fan myself |

And I think it ranks right up there. Think of the songs, Shattered, Miss You, Beast OF Burden, When The Whip Comes Down

3. When the cop stopped me for speeding, I told him I was listening to my new mix CD from Stones |
|
I should've given to him. Got fired up. He caught me before I burst into flames, I guess (doing 75mph in a 60mph). Seen 'em three times. Would go again tonight. Tumble: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAWKBOwIEU8&feature=related
