4. Glacier Park will soon have no glaciers.
I think they are predicting another ten years.

It is the most beautiful place I have ever seen in my life, and I urge everyone to see it and the adjacent Canadian Provincial Park of Waterton. The jewel of the continent, really.

I've been privileged to see it, and the memories of the alpine meadows and wildflowers will never go.

I've been all over that park, the first time, more than forty years ago when it still had glaciers.

Of the estimated 150 glaciers which existed in the park in the mid-19th century, only 25 active glaciers remained by 2010.<4> Scientists studying the glaciers in the park have estimated that all the glaciers may disappear by 2020 if the current climate patterns persist. (wiki)
